2011 for Ah-Tissue!!

In 2011 Ah-Tissue will be launching new products.

Also we will be sharing tutorials on different items & putting together
inspiration albums to share how our items go well with other products.
We would love to cross promote other talented designers who specialise in
printable/invites, which can be for any events eg. Parties, Weddings, etcŠ

I Love Christmas Decorating!!

Due to Ah-Tissue getting flooded with orders nearly 1000+ poms to get done before Christmas and just after, we have decided my online stores are closed from Friday 3/12/10 & will open on 3.1.11 with the launch of our site. As our items are all handmade with love we do have a time frame to have these ready for post to ensure Pre-Christmas Delivery.xox

My Day Friday!!!

On Friday I was all ready to crack open a bottle of Champagne as I had
found out 1. I have the all clear that I don't have the big "C" for
now 2. I opened up to page 30 of LittleONE Baby
to find my new pom pom wall art that is coming soon has been featured. That I have won a signed copy of our Paperstyle Book by Cristina Re what a day I was having..But then when I went to pick my husband up after work he had just found out that his beautiful Smiley Grandfather had past away that day. What make it special and rare is it was his Grandfathers Birthday that day and he turned 92..
We still cracked the Champagne and cheers to his life..

So we are off to Melbourne this week for his funeral so I am busy busy trying to get out alot of orders before we go...

Opening Tomorrow!

I will be re-opening for business tomorrow after being closed due to having an operation..
My website is nearly finished but not just yet so I will be opening one of my online store in the mean time for all pom pom orders..

Re-Opening on the 8th of November

The count down is on for my Re-Opening on the 8th of November...6 more sleeps to go...woooohhoooooo

My operation is on this Thurs (21st) oh what fun not! so I will b out of contact(email) for a bit sorry for any inconveniences.Wish I didn't have 2 have this but can't b helped that life & health is number 1. Glad I am getting it done sooner than later as I am dying 2 get back to my Ah-Tissue.I will announce here when Ah-Tiss...ue will b all recovered & taking on orders again.Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Whoopsy been very slack with blog posts lately sorry.. I just have been flat out with pom pom making, photo shoots, website planning, working out new products and last but not least having a biopsy on this new found lump on my thyroid oh what fun...I now have to have just half my Thyroid out for the time being but there is 20% chance if that is cancer they will have to go back in and take it all out...Fun Fun..I hate this waiting game heheh..I will be meeting with my Surgeon next Friday the 24th.. So just keeping my mind on my busy little venture Ah-Tissue..

Also the day I went for my Biopsy I found out that 2 of my Pom Poms are in the latest October issue - Shop till you drop Magazine and on page 191

Tomorrow I will be drawing 10 lucky dip winners as I have now hit past the 1000 like mark on my facebook page so if you are a liker you maybe a winner..

La Toriana Photo Shoot by Naomi V Photography

A few Thursdays back I was lucky enough to finally do a fun photo shoot using my Pom Poms. I was very privileged to take part in a shoot with the creative talent Naomi V Photography for this Summers range which will be available online at La Toriana.

Naomi & Elizabeth team up to set a perfect afternoon little girls tea party at Daisy Hill Forest. All the yummy treats and setting was styled beautifully by Bubble and Sweet my tummy enjoyed them Thank You!! It was so nice to meet the mums behind these gorgeous little models too. And

a big thanks to Naomi's assistant Fiona for helping me out as well with the hanging of the poms..

My Christmas in July Dinner Party!

A few weekends back I had a small Christmas in July Dinner Party with a few of my friends. The main reason why I had it is so I could use my Pom Poms hehehe. Also to celecbrate 2 of my girlfrineds being preganant and one of them has just publihed her first childrens book which is called "One Sheep Two Sheep" so make sure you check it out ,my little boy loves it..


I wanted to start the night off with a bit of fun and creativity so Darren and I set up a photo booth with lots of props..It was alot of fun..


And since it was Christmas in July I themed my colours around a candy canes so all my decoration were in these colours.


With the poms on the wall I just added a small amount of blue tac in the center. Still keeping with the candy cane theme I bought these retro red and white straws from Mon Tresor.

I had alot of fun putting this together and as you can see I used my Napkin Poms and I soon will have the table center piece set of 10 available on my store.

And as a little treat as a favor each of my guest received a beautiful yummy Authentic French Macarons
So if you are lucky enough to be in Brisbane make sure you try these, they are the best ever..

I hope you like my first event using my Tissue Paper Pom Poms..
